Quick Clip
Listening to a video, a podcast, or a lecture? Press one shortcut to save the line you just heard. No rewinding, no screen recording.
彼女は昨日から何も食べていないらしい。
Apparently she hasn’t eaten anything since yesterday.
For Mac
Save the sentence you just heard with one shortcut. Or record an app on your Mac or import an audio file, split it into sentences, and translate each one. Keep the lines you want as clips to replay and review.
Only that app’s sound is recorded, so no unrelated noise gets in. Capture from the menu bar, or turn on the floating Quick Clip and Record buttons in Settings.

Quick Clip
A browser, a video or audio player, or any other app that plays sound. LingoClipper listens only to that app — not your microphone, and never its own sound.
The last 30 seconds are always at hand, so you can save the line you just heard.
It recognizes that audio on your Mac and picks the sentence that just ended.
Drag the edges on the waveform if needed, translate it if you like, then save.
Recordings and audio files
Record the app you are listening to for as long as you like, or import MP3, M4A, WAV, and AIFF files.
LingoClipper splits the whole recording into sentences, turns each one into text, and translates them one by one.
Move sentence boundaries, and edit the transcript or the translation.
Loop any sentence, or follow along sentence by sentence in the player. Save the lines you want as clips to replay freely, or review them efficiently with spaced repetition.

Hide the transcript or translation and reveal it when you are ready.
Play the clips in a folder in order, shuffled, or on loop, and choose how many times each one repeats.
Edit any transcript or translation by hand.
Today brings your saved clips back with spaced repetition. Collect new words in your word book as you go.
Follow along
A full-window player highlights each sentence as the recording plays. Show or hide the transcript and translation, jump by sentence, or play only the parts you have split into sentences.
