Review with Today

Start a review

Today shows how many Clips are Due, how many are New Clips, and how many you have Reviewed Today. Click Start Review. Each review includes every Clip that is due, plus up to 20 new ones.

Listen, reveal, rate

1. Listen to the Clip. The text starts hidden so you train your ear first.
2. Click Show Answer to see the original text and translation.
3. Rate how well you understood it: Again, Hard, Good or Easy. Each button shows when the Clip will come back.

Keyboard: Space plays or pauses, Return shows the answer, and 1 to 4 rate.

In Settings › Playback you can show the text right away, play audio automatically, and choose the default speed.

Collect words

While reading a Clip in the Library, select a word and choose Add to Words. Open Words from the Today page to see everything you collected, with the macOS dictionary’s definition when one is available. Open Clip takes you back to the sentence.

Words are stored only on this Mac.
